Far more than a dining destination, The Kiosk stands as a testament to what can be achieved when culinary artistry blends with a vision for social enrichment. With a unique model of being managed by students, The Kiosk serves as a dynamic training ground for aspiring professionals. Here, students are given the rare opportunity to hone their skills, gain practical experience, and receive critical financial support, all within the vibrant atmosphere of a bustling eatery. This vision was brought to life through the initiative of the enthusiastic 92/93 cohort of the Faculty of Agriculture, with the valuable support of the Alumni Association (AAFAUP).

A small student-run restaurant, primarily catering to students from the nearby campus. The prices are very, very low, but don't let that fool you! The menu is short, and the food was delicious – everything was perfectly seasoned and prepared fresh, on-site. Despite the menu being only in English, the staff didn't speak English very well, but that wasn't a problem. The restaurant is close to the Royal Botanical Gardens, so it's perfect for a quick visit after a walk.

Google ReviewsThis is a great concept for university students. The place seems to maintain good hygiene practices, which is a big plus. I tried their fried rice, lava cake, and guava drink overall, it was good value for the price. One suggestion I have is to place a signboard near the Sarasavi Uyana railway station entrance as it's a bit tricky to find the exact location. Otherwise, it's a nice spot!

Google ReviewsWe stumbled upon the cafeteria of the Faculty of Agriculture by chance, without realizing it was the dining hall. The restaurant is run by the students themselves, and they treated us very well. The portions were generous, and the atmosphere was very youthful. The prices were very reasonable, and I highly recommend it after visiting the botanical garden.
