Our Story
Welcome to The Kiosk, where every meal tells a story of passion, innovation, and community spirit. Far more than a dining destination, The Kiosk stands as a testament to what can be achieved when culinary artistry blends with a vision for social enrichment.
Our journey began with a simple yet powerful idea: to create a space where the love for exquisite food meets the drive for meaningful social impact. This vision was brought to life through the initiative of the enthusiastic 92/93 cohort of the Faculty of Agriculture, with the valuable support of the Alumni Association (AAFAUP). Motivated by a desire to provide assistance to students grappling with the challenges posed by the country's economic crisis, The Kiosk emerged as a beacon of hope and opportunity.
From the outset, The Kiosk was more than just a restaurant; it was an innovative venture designed to nurture talent and ambition. With a unique model of being managed by students, The Kiosk serves as a dynamic training ground for aspiring professionals in management and leadership. Here, students are given the rare opportunity to hone their skills, gain practical experience, and receive critical financial support, all within the vibrant atmosphere of a bustling eatery. The Kiosk officially opened its doors to the public on January 9, 2023, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This achievement was made possible through the unwavering dedication of countless individuals who believed in our mission and the generous investment of Rs 6 million from our supporters. As we continue to grow and evolve, plans are already underway to expand our reach and deepen our impact.
